By working directly in, and with, the communities that create our products, we support our artisans to remain, and work, within the villages that have inspired their craft over many generations.

We look for ways to support our artisans by guaranteeing fair trade practices, and cultivating long-term relationships with them. All our artisans have flexible working hours that support their family responsibilities, which means their communities are prospering.

Our network of artisans comprise 12 communities within La Alta Guajira and have every skill that is required to make our bags and accessories. From the weaving of panels and straps, to the final assembly, its all coordinated by our operations team on the ground in Riohacha (La Guajira). And, our conscious business practices raise a collaborative culture with common goals, always learning together, with mutual respect and nurture.
